Cagliari-Elmas Airport is the main airport in Sardinia with flights operating to and from Italian and European cities.
The airport is about 10 km from the town and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre by taxi/car/shuttle or train. Car Rental agencies are easy to be found by the Arrivals Area.
A shuttle service is operated by the ARST company with buses running around every 30 minutes.
The ARST shuttle service terminates at piazza Matteotti which is located in the city centre of Cagliari, where both the train and the CTM bus stations are located.
A train service from/to airport of Cagliari-Elmas and Piazza Matteotti is also available.

The shuttle service connecting the airport to Cagliari city centre is operated by ARST - Azienda Regionale Trasporti (http://www.arst.sardegna.it/index.html). The journey to and from P.zza Matteotti where ARST Central Bus Station is located takes approximately 10 mins.
The service is operated every 30 mins. Bus fare is 4 euros for a single ride. Tickets are available at the ticket vending machine in the Arrivals hall of the airport, at the ARST ticket counter in p.zza Matteotti, at authorized dealers and on the bus (with additional charge).

Connection from CAGLIARI to Conference Venue – FORTE VILLAGE RESORT is guaranteed by ARST Azienda Regionale Trasporti (http://www.arst.sardegna.it/index.html). A connection between the airport and the city center is also available by train. The rail service starts at about 5am and ends after 9pm. The journey to and from city centre takes about 5-7 mins, single fare is 1.25 euros. Tickets are sold by Trenitalia at the vending machine located inside the station, online and by official ticket counters and authorized dealers. The airport train station is just a 5 minutes’ walk from the air terminal.
